is designed for college students pursuing a degree in a STEM field and provides opportunities to learn what it’s like to work in a professional environment and apply what’s learned in class to real-world challenges. RESPONSIBILITIES Perform basic drafting in 2D (AutoCAD) and 3D (Revit) to acquire necessary CAD skills and applicable software knowledge. Acquire knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing, and Fire Protection systems. Develop familiarity with CAD software and related equipment and procedures. Enter basic data, such as measurements and commands, to generate construction drawings, renderings, report graphics, and other digital images. Edit existing designs, following detailed instructions. Make minor mathematical calculations. Check drawings to verify completeness, clarity, and accuracy, and present to supervisor for review. Take online software training programs and read manuals and other instructional materials to develop familiarity with CAD products and company procedures. Assist in the preparation of graphic displays and presentation materials. Perform other duties as the Supervisor may deem necessary. Project site visits to assist Engineer with surveys. Provide administrative and operations support. Complete Quality Management Training and comply with the program upholding a commitment to quality in all aspects of work. QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE:

No experience is generally required. EDUCATION:

Enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree program in one of the following or similar:

Mechanical Engineering Architectural Engineering

SPECIAL SKILLS:

Microsoft Excel and Word Good interpersonal skills Capable of developing technical writing Good communications skills AutoCAD or Revit is a plus. Carrier HAP or Trane Trace, Bluebeam, Navisworks is a plus.
