Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to maintain and repair various types of equipment. This role requires a proactive approach to ensure all systems operate efficiently, with a focus on air conditioning and general maintenance tasks. The Maintenance Engineer will play a key role in supporting the operational effectiveness of our facilities. Duties Maintain and repair mechanical systems and equipment, ensuring optimal performance. Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on air conditioning units and other machinery. Build and modify equipment as necessary to meet operational needs. Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively. Lead small teams during maintenance projects, providing guidance and support. Document all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs promptly. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in equipment repair. Familiarity with air conditioning systems is highly desirable. Ability to read and understand schematics for troubleshooting purposes. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. A proactive attitude towards maintenance tasks and safety practices. Relevant qualifications or certifications in mechanical engineering or a related field would be an advantage.
