The successful candidate will provide mechanical engineering design services to clients and support project teams, acting as a mechanical engineering subject matter expert. Performance Objectives: Develop mechanical engineering designs for various projects Perform calculations and analysis to create effective mechanical solutions Conduct surveys and site assessments to determine appropriate mechanical systems Meet with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements Support contractors in developing suitable mechanical designs Assess contractor designs and provide critical analysis Conduct inspections to ensure designs meet specified standards Collaborate with the team to develop client-focused solutions Produce accurate design drawings and documentation Ensure work is completed to client deadlines Respond promptly to stakeholder queries Person Specification: Mechanical engineering experience Familiarity with retail engineering solutions Experience in designing and delivering mechanical systems Proficiency in producing technical drawings and calculations using relevant software Expertise in CAD & Revit Ability to produce design calculations and associated reports Strong data analysis skills Excellent written and verbal communication Strong report writing and presentation skills Qualifications: Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering Application Process: Please send your CV to James Hyland or call James at GAP Construction on (phone number removed).
