35% Position Overview: Carrier is seeking a highly skilled and motivated leader to oversee and drive the success of modernization projects across the EMEA region. As the HVAC EMEA Modernization Project Management Leader, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence of our

growing modernization business line , ensuring strategic execution, quality project delivery, and robust financial performance. You’ll be responsible for leading projects and ensuring that our modernization initiatives deliver tangible results across multiple markets. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior executives, contribute to

key strategic initiatives , and make a meaningful impact on Carrier’s modernization growth strategy. This role is ideal for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is business and commercially oriented, and is eager to apply their expertise to modernize operations across the EMEA region. Key Responsibilities: Operational Excellence & Governance:

Provide oversight for the effective management of modernization projects across EMEA. Create governance structures and operational dashboards to ensure standardized, high-quality project execution. Risk Management:

Proactively manage and mitigate potential project risks to avoid costly mistakes in this high-stakes business area. Project Delivery:

Lead the planning and execution of modernization projects, ensuring they are completed ahead of schedule, within budget, and to a high standard. Financial Tracking:

Create structured forecasting processes and provide monthly financial and operational KPI reports at both country and EMEA levels. Ensure accurate cost tracking against estimates and maintain a close feedback loop between estimating and pricing actions. Strategic Roadmap Development:

Build a prioritized roadmap to scale operational capacity and support the aggressive growth of the modernization business in the coming years. Provide strategic coordination across markets to streamline processes and deliver efficiencies. Team Leadership:

Establish a network of expertise across EMEA and foster a culture of quality and excellence. Lead the effort to improve subcontractor and supply chain management through standardized work. Special Projects:

Support special initiatives and projects that are critical to Carrier’s strategic goals in the modernization space. Qualifications & Experience: Several years of experience in project-based operational roles, with a proven track record of delivering large and complex projects (€1 million+). Strong operational and process-oriented mindset, with the ability to improve systems and drive performance improvements. Demonstrated ability to manage risks, create governance structures, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a clear ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
