Recotherm are looking for an

air handling unit (AHU) HVAC service engineer . The successful applicant will be required to attend head offices in Astwood Bank, Redditch, Worcestershire for meetings periodically but the role will be on the road based targeting sites based south of the Midlands. The ideal candidate will have a flexible attitude with regards to working hours based around an average 40 hour week and be able to multi-task when needed. Reporting into our Service Manager, your duties will include: Onsite service/repair work. Attending and actively participating in Service Team meetings (quarterly). Reacting and dealing with customer problems in an effective and professional way onsite. Offering technical support over the phone at times. Attend regular training sessions and to keep up to date with latest technical advice and components used. The ideal individual will have a range of skills, and ideally will have the following qualifications/experience: Experience in the HVAC industry is essential. Knowledge of electrics is essential. TREND and/or Distech controls knowledge is an advantage. Knowledge of swimming pool ventilation is advantageous. This role may require travelling all over the UK, so a flexible attitude to working hours is essential. The desire and work commitment to progress within the industry. A clean driving licence. Ability to adapt, have a good work ethic and perseverance to reach a resolution whilst on site sometimes under pressure. Great communication skills with the customer and team members. Self-motivation and ability to work alone at times. Be able to use the job management app to complete job sheets and fill in asset register (training will be given).
