Job Description

We are looking for someone to be a liaison between the Client and HVAC equipment suppliers:

Technically overseeing the Client HVAC equipment contract, with a specific focus on the equipment follow-up, in close collaboration with the Client layout and HVAC system teams.

Supporting the equipment section of the team with verifying seismic calculation justification documents from our supplier.

Serving as the representative of the Responsible Designer HVAC contract team in various meetings with the Client and the supplier.

Reporting on the progress of equipment technical open points during fortnightly dedicated meetings with the contractor and our client.

Monitoring contractor's deliverables related to handover activities (Seismic calculation notes, HVAC Release Report, and HVAC database).

Performing reviews of supplier documents related to Instrumentation & Control scope.

Coordinating and conducting technical assessments of the impacts of CCRs (Contractor Change Requests).

Managing the processing of modifications, including monitoring progress, using performance indicators, and generating reports when needed.

Updating the HVAC database and managing CTS (Change Transfer Sheet) issues to the Client according to the schedule.

Qualifications

Mechanical, Nuclear Engineering degree or equivalent qualification. Seismic calculation experience (FEA - Finite Element Analysis). Minimum of 3 years’ experience in system engineering, layout engineering, or relevant experience. Ability to effectively manage own and team’s workload to meet deadlines and KPI forecast. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate clearly and accurately, both written and orally. Proactive and confident in communicating with others, particularly those based in remote offices including France and Germany. Proactive in developing positive working relations with others within the project. Ability to prioritize and manage numerous tasks with other stakeholders. Experience in technical, cost, and schedule management of high-value technical contracts. Experience in project configuration management. Proficiency in utilizing Navisworks or equivalent software.

Desirable qualifications, experience and skills:

• Knowledge of HVAC system and equipment sizing (AHU, fans, filters, water coils)

• Knowledge and understanding of Programmable Logic Controllers

• HVAC knowledge of Pressurized Water Reactor system design principles

Additional Information

12 month fixed term contract with options to extend.
