What the role involves

• Work with engineers to ensure proper alignment, calibration, and pressure testing of hydraulic components.
• Assisting in system commissioning and sea trials to verify performance.
• Ensure proper selection, filtration, and maintenance of hydraulic fluids.
• Monitoring system contamination levels and implement fluid cleanliness programs.

Skills and requirements

• Diploma, NVQ, or Degree in Hydraulic Engineering, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Certification in Hydraulics (e.g., IFPS, Parker, Bosch Rexroth, or equivalent training) is desirable.
• 3 + years of experience in hydraulic maintenance within the marine, offshore or heavy equipment industry.
• Proficiency in reading hydraulic schematics and troubleshooting fluid power systems.
