Hygiene Shift Manager - Hygiene - Night Shift Contract: Full Time Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 Contracted Hours:

Over the past 25 years, Taiko has launched more first-to-market Sushi and Food to Go products than any other sushi manufacturer in the UK. Responsibilities:

Understanding BRC Technical Standard in their areas and making sure that they are implemented daily. Ownership of responsibilities and ensuring team members clearly understand their daily tasks. Creating a positive working environment with team members. Reporting daily issues, including personnel, to supervisors in a timely manner. Ensuring all staff understand and follow all procedures throughout the factory. Leading the Hygiene Team as the first line Hygiene Team Leader to ensure completion of hygiene schedules and maintain high standards. Ensuring required quality, safety, hygiene, and environmental standards are implemented, maintained, and improved. Supporting engineering in routine preventative maintenance and cleaning and production in line setup/startup post-deep cleaning and maintenance. Continuously re-evaluating hygiene standards, cleaning procedures, practices, and equipment in line with best practices, customer guidelines, and legislation. Developing and training site hygiene activities with Hygiene Members to maximize their potential, flexibility, and skill levels. Meeting with suppliers to optimize chemical cleaning and equipment for staff comfort and job effectiveness. Ensuring effective communication regarding factory hygiene standards across and between shifts to achieve optimum performance. Responding to audit reports and corrective action summaries to ensure work is carried out in a timely manner. Presenting documentation to support the Hygiene Operation, including Chemical Data Sheets and Training Records. Assisting in the planning and delivery of customer audits/visits and ensuring the team is clear on requirements. Ensuring all work conforms to the processes and procedures of the ‘Quality Management System’ and ‘Health and Safety Management System’. Supporting the Head of Technical as required.
