The Programme Manager is a role that will require an individual with a broad skill set that is prepared to adapt their leadership style and delivery approaches to suit the environment and their client. The size of their team and focus on specifics around the role will vary based on the client requirements, ranging from consultancy type business management through to being responsible for transformational change in a highly complex delivery environment.Responsibilities:Lead customer interfaces, build teams, relationships, and stakeholder confidence.As necessary take responsibility for performance, profit and loss, and commercial arrangementsEstablish and oversee complex programmes supporting clients in the nuclear industry.Develop governance structures integrating with existing frameworks, optimising decision making across the programme and integrated projects.Effective application of best practice in managing complex programme in a bespoke environment.Understands execution of projects and Project Execution Planning.Development of programme blueprints, tranche structures, mapping and measures for realisation of benefits.As necessary lead and set up a Programme Management Offices, programme reporting, baseline development and integration of project reports.Manage programme risks and opportunities.Production of Green Book five case business cases.Requirements:Ideally Degree Qualified or HND in engineering disciplineProject Management Qualification Prince2, APMP or equivalentPrevious experience in the Programme Management of Nuclear projectsProven experience in overseeing complex projects and programmesCommercial awareness with focus on delivery and value for moneyProven excellent analytical and organisational skillsFlexibility and ability to adapt to a changing work environment Previous experience of managing high value programmesKnowledge of UK Government regulated site activitiesAmentum are an equal opportunities employer.You will be eligible for UK SC security clearance.Amentum is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
