As part of our consistent growth, we have a new opportunity at Pragmatic Semiconductor for an IC Product Reliability Engineer who will play a key role in our evolving Reliability function as we transition into high-volume manufacturing. Reporting to the Senior IC Reliability Manager, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced semiconductor professional to evaluate and ensure the reliability of Pragmatic’s unique flexible thin film semiconductor technology. The successful candidate will work as a member of the newly established Reliability team. They will also collaborate widely with various groups at Pragmatic, including the IC Design/Engineering, Test Development, Emerging Technology, and Process Engineering. We are therefore looking for a team player with communication skills and the ability to build excellent relationships. Be responsible for product reliability, both for released products and products in development. Define product/package reliability evaluation and/or qualification plans, and be responsible for their execution and analysis. Analyse and model reliability data. Own the root cause analysis of reliability/qualification failures, in conjunction with the Failure Analysis team. Drive product and process improvements. Define novel test hardware and infrastructure to tailor semiconductor industry best practices to Pragmatic’s unique flexible thin film semiconductor technology. Qualifications and training

Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electronic Engineering or related subject area (or equivalent experience) is essential. Research training would be desirable. Skills and experience

Knowledge of semiconductor reliability failure mechanisms, industry-standard acceleration and testing methodologies, and relevant statistical models. Significant knowledge of integrated circuits (ICs) would be highly advantageous. Experience of working in a reliability team in a commercial semiconductor environment. Ability to work to tight deadlines and progress multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
