ICT Infrastructure Support Analyst North West Leicestershire District Council is a busy council, working across our communities to help people and businesses thrive. Our ICT service is changing, and an extensive programme of modernisation is currently underway. We’re investing in new technology to drive operational efficiency and further improve customer service. About the role You will be joining a dynamic team, managing the council's ICT infrastructure and delivering IT infrastructure projects with the latest technologies. As a 3rd point of contact for resolving infrastructure and networking issues, you'll work with the ICT Team Manager to deliver and manage infrastructure projects as part of the ICT strategy. This hands-on role will require occasional work outside normal office hours. Our ideal candidate You will have experience supporting the full Microsoft Office Stack, SQL databases, Office 365, and Windows Servers, along with imaging and storage solutions. Knowledge of security and networking best practices would also be useful. Proficiency in administering MS Teams, MS Entra ID, and Microsoft Copilot would be beneficial. Benefits: 36.25 hrs per week with an annual salary of £31,586 - £35,235 Agile working scheme with a combination of home and office working 34 days holiday (including bank holidays) increasing to 38 days after 5 years (full time equivalent) Attractive Local Government Pension Scheme with at least 25% employer’s contribution Employee benefits programme including payback on medical, dental and optical expenses Continued training and development opportunities Interested?
