We are looking for a Head of Financial Advice for our client based in Dorking. We are looking for someone who will be able to help drive this well-established wealth advisory firm forward on to the next stage of its growth plan. You'll work alongside the Founder and Executive Board and will be given a very competitive package including an incentive plan on meeting the company's growth objectives. Reporting into the Managing Director, the Head of Financial Advice will be responsible for providing leadership across the Adviser team, developing, and embedding a people-centric culture to ensure good outcomes for the clients and the Advisers. You will have deep sector knowledge, and as a thought leader, you will be accountable for the advisory division's vision, strategy, performance, and delivery of results and will take a lead role in the coordination and collaboration of all divisional resources to evolve the proposition and ensure delivery of financial targets. Requirements Educated to degree standard or equivalent, holds a business-related professional qualification. 5 years+ experience within Wealth Management/Financial Advice leadership. An accomplished Senior Management professional with relevant Segment & Sales leadership experience. Able to illustrate leadership and sales execution in organisations of similar size and complexity. Previous experience of managing a budget and being responsible for the profitability of their area of responsibility. Excellent people leadership with the ability to excite, motivate, nurture and enable the success of others through collaboration and teamwork. Strong negotiation skills with experience of operating and influencing effectively at all levels up to and including Board. Demonstrable focus on the customer creating ownership and initiative. Strong commercial acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills. Record of mentoring and/or wider involvement within the industry. Ability to network with key personnel within and outside of the organisation. Holds other financial services-related qualifications relevant to the area of expertise.
