You will lead the production operations in the Plant and delivering key performance targets (SQCDSM) in safety, quality, productivity, volumes, cost, sustainability, organizational morale. You will ensure our manufacturing strategy is implemented and is fully effective and you will strive to build a high performing organization.
How you will contribute
You will:
Manage change / transformation amongst the Operating teams in the implementation of IL6S (Integrated Lean 6 Sigma) phase journey, FoF (Factory of Future) Line centric organisation & roles; AM (Autonomous Maintenance), PM (Progressive Maintenance) and an integrated 6-star model within operating line teams to progress into self-sufficient teams. Role model company values and principles through effective coaching, mentoring and development of the team.
Support the manufacturing annual operational plans and targets to meet the balanced scorecard and Engagement goals in line with the site CBN (Compelling business need). Coach Line Leaders, cascade & communicate the plans and targets to employees to ensure alignment and understanding around priorities, focus and KPI’s.
Lead and be accountable to establish strong governance to review and control operational performance, continuously improve and embed a zero-loss mindset to constantly improve and deliver against best in class both internally and externally. Drive the operating team to identify and manage improvements to technology, culture, capability, and operating systems to deliver a best practice and reliable operation.
Support all manufacturing standards, governance, compliance requirements (e.g., corporate quality, food safety & GMP, health, safety, security, environment, sustainability, code of conduct, policies & principles, operational standards, local legal requirements, internal audit norms, & other procedures updated from time to time) are in place, understood by all, and are regularly reviewed and monitored for effective implementation.
Lead and be Accountable for Talent, Capabilities & Engagement for the Manufacturing team - identify and implement critical levers to attract, retain & develop critical talent and builds capability at all levels, technical and behavioral, to build a sustainable workforce profile for the future. Partner effectively with all multi-functional peers internally & externally (outside the plant) to achieve objectives, goals and KPI’s.
What you will bring

- CI and high-performance work systems experience
- Strong facilitation and communication skills to support team discussions on CI activities
- Application of lean and/or TPM tools in a factory (GEMBA) or operations environment
- Ability to articulate and validate data in manual and automated systems
- Mastery of Excel and other data analytics tools
- Organized and disciplined to support and educate on the DMS process & TPM journey
- Logical and structured thinking to extract insights using a data driven approach

What you need to know about this position:
It is necessary to be confident with IL6S tools (Standard Working Processes) and processes in an advanced phase of the program (Phase 1 and 2) such as PM to AM transfer, 6 Star Model Implementation, Digital development and a clear integration of Supply Chain aimed at E2E excellence, which consists in ensuring a stable and reliable delivery to the client.
What extra ingredients you will bring:
- Self-starter able to identify and exploit opportunities through coaching Plant teams and deliver continuous improvements in Manufacturing.
- Personal objective to be 80% present in the GEMBA (On the shop floor) to energise and coach plant teams in IL6S SWP application and cultural growth through engagement.
- Strong Knowledge of internal manufacturing process required.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to deal with all levels internal and external to the organization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, conceptual skills, task prioritization, follow-up, tenacity, and creativity.
- Strong problem solving skill
- Drive for results through others (Capability building).
Education / Certifications:
- Degree qualified in Engineering, Mathematics or Business-related discipline or equivalent.
- Minimum Green belt or equivalent Lean training.
Job specific requirements:
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, 6-Sigma implementation to change a culture.
- Demonstrable experience in project management skills.
- Proven track record to deliver against a framework that engages and embeds the TPM mode
