Wesley Mission is seeking staff to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends, based across the Western Suburbs, including Penrith, Hills District, Auburn, Holroyd, Parramatta, Blacktown, and surrounding areas, as well as Northern Beaches including Gladesville, North Sydney, Manly, Brookvale, Dee Why, Narrabeen, Turramurra, and Hornsby. We work with the most disadvantaged by providing over 200 services ranging from aged care to health services. About the Program Wesley Home Care assists frail aged people to lead fulfilling lives by providing life-enriching supports in the community. We offer quality care that encourages clients to maintain independence while catering to their social, physical, and spiritual needs. About You Certificate III in Individual Support Aged Care or willingness to obtain NSW Driver’s Licence Comprehensively insured & registered motor vehicle Current First Aid Certificate Proof of double COVID-19 vaccinations Previous experience working with frail aged people, people with dementia, and complex needs Experience in monitoring clients and reporting behavioural or health changes Experience with providing personal care, including the use of mobility aids Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently Understanding of WH&S issues and risk management for client home-based care Those speaking a second language are encouraged to apply Experience in the aged care sector is desirable but not essential as training will be provided Remuneration Salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care Services Industry Award 2010 as Home Care Worker.
