2-4 PQE Corporate Lawyer - FMCG Group - East Midlands (hybrid)
We are delighted to be working exclusively with a global FMCG Group on a very rare in-house corporate lawyer opportunity! This business is a household name in the sector and partners with some of the biggest brands and retailers in the world.
The inspirational General Counsel is currently growing a high-performing and highly respected legal team within the business, and is seeking to add a lawyer to focus mainly on corporate matters in relation to group corporate deals and structuring. The role will naturally evolve and will provide you with the opportunity to also advise on generalist matters such as commercial contracts, GDPR, employment law and company secretarial.
You will be circa 2-4 PQE and personality wise, the business is looking for a lawyer who is adaptable and excited by a challenge. It is also key that you are able to forge relationships with key stakeholders in the business.
This is a fantastic first in-house opportunity for a lawyer currently in private-practice, seeking a first in house move where you can utilise your existing corporate law expertise but also add to your skillset by assisting on more generalist commercial law matters. Or, if you are a corporate lawyer working in house currently but seeking a new challenge in an exciting business / sector, then this certainly offers that!
The business operates a hybrid working policy and there is a requirement for 3 days per week in the East Midlands office.
