Overview and Purpose of Role The Training Coordinator will deliver onsite training & certification for core skills in line with the requirements for each role in a multi-skilled manufacturing environment. They will be responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, evaluating and delivering all core training, acting as the main point of contact for all training-related enquiries. Working collaboratively with the HSE Manager, the successful candidate will review & develop current standard operating procedures for all duties on the shop floor to embed best practice in our manufacturing processes to meet legislative and best practice governance. They will embody and champion our People, Innovation, Partnership, & Efficiency values. Main Duties and Responsibilities Embody & champion Mallaghans Vision, Values, & Behaviors in all aspects of the business. Deliver onsite training & certification for core skills in line with the requirements for each role. Manage external training as required to ensure all our employees are fully up to date with statutory training requirements. Manage the training matrix for all roles on site. Lead on the development of a robust training catalogue of Standard Operating Procedures underpinned by a safety first culture. Work with HSE Manager to promote initiatives to ensure all team members are abiding by health, safety, and environmental policies and championing a safety first culture whether at a customer site or the Mallaghan factories. Develop Induction & Onboarding training to improve the overall New Starter experience including core skills training and the development of new training programs to support personal & professional development. Be a visual presence on site to audit work areas to ensure ongoing compliance and continuous improvement in relation to Health & Safety. Other duties as required Role Requirements Certificate in Training Practice or similar NEBOSH qualified Train the Trainer qualification preferred Mobile Plant/FLT operator A minimum of 3 years experience in a trainer role, preferable within a heavy machinery manufacturing environment.
