Purpose of the In Store Sales Executive Role
Due to retirement, we have an exciting sales role that has become available at our Wilton Depot.
Responsibility for all horticultural sales activities, assisting with ATV and SSV sales, together with walk in enquiries at the Depot. Working closely with our customers and suppliers and Agricultural sales team to achieve key targets set both by external sources and the Company’s strategic management team.
In this role you would be required to work a 40-hour week, to include the majority of Saturday mornings. You would then be entitled to take half a day off in the week in lieu of the Saturday morning hours.
This role includes the following main responsibilities:
Assisting with the ordering of Horti machinery for Wilton & Blandford
Creating computer orders and issuing with wholegood numbers
Accepting orders, building up machines for showroom
Carrying out PDI’s on sold machinery
Selling to customers, in person and phone queries
Lawnmower collections & deliveries for the workshop (mostly through the winter period but does help out throughout the year)
Basic repairs on machinery in workshop and out on site
IDT run to other Depots and collection/deliveries to local suppliers as required
Unloading lorries/deliveries in yard
Assistance with other sales machinery within the role
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
Good IT skills, including Ibcos Gold, Microsoft Word
Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends and products
Anything else as required that is within your capabilities to assist with other team members
Person Specification
Highly flexible and target driven with a proven track record in sales
Prioritising, time management and organisational skills
Able to deliver high levels of customer service
Good communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills
Familiarity with CRM practices
Forklift Licence desirable
