Global Merchant Services (GMS) Marketing is dedicated to bringing buyers and sellers together and transforming how American Express is welcomed. GMS Marketing is responsible for partnering with markets to drive profitable growth, accelerate coverage and enhance the value of Amex acceptance to merchants and Card Members at scale. We focus on enhancing our relationships with millions of merchants of all shapes and sizes, and our geographic purview includes many commerce hubs across the globe including the U.S, Canada, Latin America, the Caribbean, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. It is also critical for GMS Marketing to collaborate effectively with Card Issuing teams and other sister organizations across American Express including Client Management, Marketing Operations, Information Management, Enterprise Digital, Global Advertising and Brand Management and Card Servicing. This role offers an exciting opportunity for someone to work within our GMS European Marketing organisation to manage the roll out of regionalised campaigns across key International markets and drive strategy and marketing execution of our global cross border/Inbound communications programme. Responsibilities: Email Programme (40%)

Leading and executing complex campaigns across multiple stakeholder groups. Partnering with the Regional Marketing teams to define content and deliver the email programme. Implementing marketing plans utilizing mostly targeted BTL channels (DM, EM, Web).

Other Inbound initiatives (30%)

Supporting cross border offers (Offers for US CM traveling in Europe): Updating creative as/when required. Media: implement marketing in relevant channels such as Social Media, ATL in Airports. Pilots: Inbound marketing is subject to regular test & learn. Implement those campaigns in a fast-paced environment with complex set-up.

Project/campaign management (20%)

Appointing and managing creative agencies to ensure optimal delivery as well as platform agencies (Marigold) and deal with the full creative validation (IMH, MarketingForce). Rigorous attention to detail around campaign set up, internal governance processes and audits. Requesting and analysing post campaign analytics. Demonstrate will to win and positively navigate through both local and central stakeholders to get their buy in, feedback & commitments.

Other (10%)

You are in a regional team, support the European leadership team on key initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications: Leading and executing complex campaigns across multiple stakeholder groups. Implementing multi-channel marketing plans. Strong project management skills and experience of managing multiple projects. Outstanding relationship management with an ability to influence, negotiate outcomes. Strong analytical skills (benchmarking, forecasting, communicating results). Passion for marketing, digital marketing and innovation. Self-motivated, proactive and solution oriented.
