You will be responsible for the management and leadership of the team. With a small clinical caseload, you will offer assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of evidenced-based interventions. The team manages a caseload of patients, practicing within the framework of the multi-disciplinary team and Care Programme Approach. An excellent working knowledge of the Mental Health Act and its application to people who require transfer to hospital will be required. Support the Clinical Lead in the implementation of integrated care pathways including appropriate service user assessments and models of care within a stepped care mental health model. Co-ordinate care delivery, across the mental healthcare pathway e.g. referrals management, allocations of named worker/care co-ordinator, ensuring seamless continuity of care across the stepped care model dependent on service user need. Demonstrate the application of appropriate procedures and standards. Assist in the general management of the clinical area, with responsibilities for managing attendance. Lead on caseload and management supervision to monitor named nurse/care co-ordinator standards of service user care and documentation. Person Specification

Relevant degree or post-graduate diploma/equivalent level of experience. Experience
Considerable experience of working in the mental health field. Experience of providing specialist interventions for those with mental health problems, counselling techniques, CBT, motivational interviewing. Demonstrable experience at Band 6 /7 or equivalent. Disclosure and Barring Service Check
