As an

SEN General Primary Teacher , you will play a vital role in supporting the educational journey of students with a variety of learning needs. Your work will be centred on providing personalised lessons to small classes, ensuring students feel safe, encouraged, and engaged in their learning. Working closely with teaching assistants, SLT, and the wider school team, you will help create an environment where each child can succeed at their own pace. *** Key Responsibilities:

Support Students Learning:

Delivering tailored learning activities designed to engage and inspire students with different needs and abilities. Nurture Positive Relationships:

Build trusting, supportive relationships with students, ensuring they feel secure, valued, and able to express themselves. Assist with Daily Lessons:

Provide one-on-one and small-group lessons to students, explaining tasks, offering encouragement, and fostering independence. Track Progress:

Monitor student progress, celebrate successes, and document key achievements in line with school policies. Contribute to Well-being:

Be part of a team that prioritises student welfare, contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes well-being and safety. *** Ideal Candidate:

QTS is essential, with SEN primary teaching GCSE English and Maths, grade C (or 4) or above Preferred Experience:

Experience teaching primary children with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and PMLD Familiarity with safeguarding principles and child protection procedures Ability to manage behaviour positively and adaptively, supporting children with different learning styles and needs Previous experience in an SEN or child-centred setting is preferred but not essential *** Why Join Them?
