This is an opportunity to service and build upon an existing client portfolio on an employed or self-employed basis, delivering a consistent and outstanding client experience.

In this role, you will understand your clients' current and future financial goals and formulate easy to understand financial strategies, guiding your clients to financial independence.

This role offers home-based/remote working with access to office locations if preferred.

Key Responsibilities as our Independent Financial Adviser will include:

Developing an understanding of the AFH Financial Group’s strategy and core values representing the AFH brand in a professional and courteous manner. Complying with AFH’s advice process, maintaining regulatory competence and KPI standards to ensure all activities meet the business standards. Continually driving improvements in quality of advice and client files. Continuously maintain Fit and Proper, and TCF requirements, in accordance with AFH Financial Group’s processes and procedures, and maintain up-to-date personal CPD records and knowledge. Meeting the regulatory aspects of the role, e.g. requirements for disclosure, costs of the services provided and also the advised products. Following the Six-Stage Advice Process to build long term relationships and deliver excellent client outcomes. Reviewing and responding to clients’ changing needs and financial circumstances, keeping introducers and clients up to date with new financial products, or changes to legislation that may affect their clients’ pensions, savings, investments, and financial plans. Acquiring and developing new business from new/existing clients and professional introducers, via personal business planning, referrals, and company lead generation programme. Optimising the use of all marketing opportunities available, including via social media and networking with introducers and other professionals to develop new business. Developing and maintaining good client & introducer relationships through client meetings, seminars, and continuous feedback to the team and contact centre. Contacting corporate and individual clients to set up meetings, either within an office environment, in the clients' homes or business premises or virtually via Microsoft Teams. Conducting in-depth reviews of clients' financial circumstances, current provision, and future aims and objectives whilst analysing information, conducting research, and preparing financial planning reports best suited to the individual clients' requirements covering all areas of advice. Delivering accurate management information as requested. The following areas will be assessed:

Initial Advice Quality TCF Surveys Continuous Professional Development Customer Service Complaints New business Target. Salary validation 2.75 x basic salary (no validation in first quarter upon joining AFH). Bonus pot accrued based on gross remuneration received above the validation level. Bonus payments are subject to satisfactory KPIs. What we are looking for in our ideal Independent Financial Adviser:

Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning (or FCA approved equivalent) and to maintain CF30 status in accordance with the FCA regulations. Clear demonstration of a client-centric approach with a well-presented and articulate manner and dedication to doing the right thing for our clients. Excellent interpersonal skills, approachability, and professionalism. Harnessing IT skills to embrace the new virtual/digital ways to communicate with clients. Experience in networking and attracting new clients through business development and effective business planning to grow a client bank and build relationships with Affinity Groups, Business Owners, Entrepreneurs, Professional and Retail Clients. Benefits as an Independent Financial Adviser at AFH:

Competitive salary and annual discretionary bonus at 2.75 validation then 30% of excess income paid quarterly, with uncapped earnings potential and business expenses fully covered and reimbursed. Additional allocation of clients from our acquisitions and internal purchases should you wish to join us as an employed adviser. Car allowance of £400 per calendar month (£4,800 per annum) and mileage claims fully covered and reimbursed. Contributory pension scheme at 5% from AFH and 4% from employee salary sacrifice, with death-in-service benefit at 6 x your annual salary. 25 days annual leave plus statutory bank holidays. End-to-end in-house client journey and back-office support with full DIS, Admin, and Para Planning support, with lead generation from our call centre based in Birmingham.
