Buckinghamshire HP22 Days & Hours:

Approx 9 hours per week during term time typical hours will be: Tuesdays 5pm-8.30/9.0pm and Sundays 12.00-5.00pm. During the school holidays, the hours may increase to 10 hrs a week over 2 days typical hours 11.00am-3/4.00pm and this will be arranged in advance with Aisha's mother. The role is on a fixed-term contract for 12 months with the possibility of extension. Pay:

Weekdays: £16.50 per hour, Weekends: £17.50 per hour Driver required?

No, part of the role is to encourage and support Aisha to use public transport; however, Aisha's mother is happy to be the designated driver. Essential Experience:

ASAP (subject to satisfactory employment checks). We are seeking an encouraging and motivated Buddy to support Aisha, born in 2007, who lives at home with her parents. She is a delightful young lady who enjoys a range of activities like YouTube videos on dancing and make-up, sewing, tennis, swimming, shopping, going to the cinema and theatre, going for coffee, and is keen to start some physical activities such as yoga or a rebound class. Aisha has Cerebral Palsy which principally affects her right upper limb and does present with cognitive delay which seems quite subtle when you first meet her. She is independently mobile and communicates verbally. Aisha does suffer from anxiety. Your role will be to support Aisha with her activities and get involved with Yoga or a Rebound class. Supervising and supporting her to access the community to ensure she is kept safe at all times and to reduce her anxiety to assist with navigating social situations. Aisha can have some communication difficulties which affects her socially and emotionally, so support to provide companionship, promote self-esteem, confidence, and encourage social and leisure activities. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated person to join a dedicated home care team and develop existing skills while supporting this very special young lady. A truly rewarding role for someone who is able to communicate effectively and has the ability to work with patience, tact, understanding, warmth, and compassion. Pay and Benefits:
