Our independent client in Northern Ireland has a vacancy for a small animal veterinary surgeon.
They are a large team of 9 vets with a very diverse range of experience and interests, from a new graduate up to referral vets. Ideally, candidates will be happy with some routine procedures and will likely have 12 months or more experience. There is a huge, diverse caseload, so candidates will easily be able to develop their surgical, medical, or diagnostic skills. Certificates will, of course, be supported.
This well-equipped practice takes referrals within Orthopaedics, Spinal Surgery, Cardiology, and Ophthalmology.
An excellent rota is offered based around 5 days with short and longer days: 9-3, 9-5, and 9-8. There is a requirement for 1 Saturday in 4 with no OOH's. Ideally, this would be full-time, but part-time can also be considered along with other rota patterns.
The successful candidate will have the option to take the nice, modern apartment above the practice if they wish.
