About the role: Provide financial support to the UK Exec for the Indirect Functions (Sales, Customer Services, HR, IT etc). Manage monthly review of costs, forecasts and initiatives with functional Exec members or their delegates. Represent finance on various business initiatives. Provide financial advice and ensure decisions are based on information and logic. An integral member of the Indirect Functions management teams. Help drive financial performance in the indirect functions in close partnership with the indirect functions management. Use operational knowledge and commercial awareness, allied to financial expertise and discipline, to drive cost control and improvement. Help identify issues, target them and proactively offer workable, practical solutions. Control and integrity of month end close. Challenging yet achievable budget and forecast outputs that align with overall business strategy. Highlight financial issues and make practical recommendations on their solution. Support the MBR reviews. Provide all ad hoc financial support and analysis. The ideal candidate will have: More than 5 years experience. At least part-qualified finance professional. Excellent system skills, especially in reporting tools, Excel & PowerPoint. Strong process skills to ensure efficient and accurate working. Data-led approach with strong analytical skills.
