We are pleased to be partnering with a global leader within Insurance, as they recruit an Indirect Tax Assistant Manager to join their close-knit team. This position will require 3 days a week in the city centre of Glasgow.
Responsibilities:
Assist with VAT compliance.
Reviewing VAT returns.
Partnering with various stakeholders across the business.
Provide accurate advice regarding any indirect tax queries.
Collaborating with senior members of the team on adhoc projects.
Requirements:
Newly qualified (tax or accounting) or part-qualified CTA. Candidates without a tax qualification will be considered if they are keen to pursue one in the future.
Strong background within VAT or accounting.
An insurance background would be advantageous but not essential.
Advanced excel skills required.
Comfortable working to deadlines and multitasking.
Excellent communication skills.
