Advise clients on VAT liabilities, guide them on tax payments, proactively remind them of outstanding returns, and ensure compliance with European filings, EC Sales, and Intrastat reporting as required.
Calculate and file European VAT returns meticulously and promptly, ensuring the highest level of accuracy. Communicate with tax offices regarding clients' accounts and obligations. Conduct VAT audits/investigations in collaboration with tax offices related to your client portfolio. Stay consistently updated with VAT law and any changes in legislation. Provide exceptional customer service to build trust, rapport, and strong relationships within your portfolio. Represent the company professionally at events/webinars. Essential Experience working in Law/VAT/Accountancy/Finance.
Confident and with excellent communication skills for client interaction and engagement (Email, Phone, and face to face (ad hoc)) in both Greek and English. Works well in a team as well as independently. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organised and proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
