Our client is a well respected, international law firm who provides a complete range of legal services and advice to clients across the world of asset management – from major institutions to alternative startups.
The tax practice operates as a fully integrated global practice acting on some of the most complex tax matters, both advisory and disputes, across an international network. They are looking for a technically strong, ambitious and commercially minded Managing Associate (Big 4 Director level) with around 10 years+ experience to join the growing Indirect Tax advisory team, part of the wider tax team.
The role
Our client is looking for a person to join the team who has good technical focus but also a real interest in business and commerce, and an ability to develop and grow client relationships. You will require a strong indirect tax experience gained from working in a leading firm, whether international or in the UK. You will be a part of a diverse, hard-working and progressive team and you can base yourself in the London office or Bristol office with the option for hybrid working
Skills and requirements
Excellent technical skills.
Applicants will ideally have 10+ years’ experience gained at another leading practice or within the in-house tax team at a top tier organisation
Strong client focus with an ability and willingness to get actively involved in marketing and business development.
Commercially driven and highly energetic, with strong motivation to develop their practice over the long term.
Able to work effectively as part of a diverse and inclusive team.
Flexibility and a willingness to work additional hours as required.
