What you'll do:
Act as an internal tax adviser within the group, providing advice on transactions, operations, and construction.
Manage tax-related due diligence.
Deliver tax training needs within the business.
Maintain and develop relationships with HMRC, external advisers, and internal stakeholders.
Monitor required changes to tax risk documentation and related policies.
Keep up-to-date with new developments in tax to ensure compliance.
What you bring:
Qualified CTA and/or ACA or equivalent.
Extensive knowledge of UK taxes, particularly in the Real Estate sector with a focus on indirect taxes.
Experience in a large accounting firm or equivalent tax experience with a large private tax department.
Strong communication and relationship management skills.
Ability to explain technical tax terms and implications to non-specialist professionals.
Commercial mindset – ability to identify improvements and cost savings.
