Location: Bedfordshire Area
Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum + Overtime, Bonus, and Additional Benefits
About the Role We are looking for a skilled and experienced Industrial Door, Automatic Door, Roller Shutter, Gates, and Barriers Engineer to join our team in the Bedfordshire area. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, servicing, and maintenance of a wide range of industrial doors, automatic doors, roller shutters, gates, and barriers, ensuring they operate efficiently and meet safety standards. Key Responsibilities Installation, servicing, and maintenance of industrial doors, automatic doors, roller shutters, gates, and barriers Fault finding and troubleshooting on mechanical and electrical components Ensuring compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations Performing system upgrades and repairs as necessary Providing excellent customer service and technical support Completing all required documentation, service reports, and compliance checks Working with a variety of systems including manual and automatic doors, security gates, and industrial barriers
Experience and Qualifications Required Proven experience as an engineer in the industrial door, automatic door, roller shutter, or gates and barriers sector Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge Experience working with automatic doors, roller shutters, gates, and barriers Familiarity with safety standards and regulations relating to industrial doors and barriers (e.g., BS EN 13241) Previous experience in installation and maintenance of security gates, barriers, and access control systems (desirable) Full UK driving license Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently Excellent customer service and communication skills
