Position Overview
The Industrial Controls Electrician will work as part of the installation team providing electrical installs across our site locations. Experience within the industrial sector with knowledge of both electrical and instrument control cable installations is required. Familiarity with the installation of containment systems, glanding and terminating experience, along with the ability to work from termination drawings and schematics, is essential. Experience with control cables, including multicore and twisted pair cables, is also necessary. Key Responsibilities
Carry out installations as advised by site management. Provide guidance to apprentices where appropriate. Installation of cable containment systems, control cabinets, armoured and non-armoured cables. Glanding and termination of multicore cables. Electrical testing of installations. Completion of test documentation as required. Other ad-hoc activities as requested by the business. Benefits
