As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the efficiency of manufacturing processes. Your primary responsibilities will include: Electrical Maintenance and Repair:

Conduct routine maintenance, fault finding, and repair on a wide range of electrical equipment including conveyors, motors, sensors, and control panels. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults efficiently to minimise downtime. Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance of electrical systems and reduce unexpected failures. Installation and Commissioning:

Install, commission, and decommission electrical equipment and systems in accordance with industry standards and company requirements. Assist with the installation of new machinery and upgrade of existing systems to improve production efficiency and safety. Compliance and Safety:

Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and standards. Conduct regular safety checks and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions. Technical Support:

Provide technical support and training to production teams to ensure proper use and care of electrical equipment. Work closely with other engineers and departments to support production needs and project initiatives. Documentation and Reporting:

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance. Prepare reports on equipment status, maintenance activities, and downtime incidents. Skills and Qualifications:

Qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and control systems in a manufacturing environment. Experience with electrical fault finding, diagnostics, and repair. Familiarity with a range of electrical equipment and tools used in food manufacturing. Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly and effectively. Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. Willingness to work a 12-hour shift pattern including days and nights. High level of attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of work. Benefits:
