We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a family run company that has been established for over 35 years.
The right candidate will be offered continuous support and the opportunity to progress to a supervisory position.
Due to an ever growing order book we require a new electrician for a hugely varied role, mainly working at customer sites throughout the south west (occassionally further afield) and at our workshops in Glastonbury.
You will be responsible for building new control cabinets for new recycling facilities before installing them with a range of electrical equipment and wiring including SWA cables, cable trays, lighting and control panel systems. The other part of the role will involve diagnosing faults on breakdowns, fault finding and rectifying on varied machinery including shredders, balers, overband magnets, eddy current separators and conveyors.
Candidates must be capable of working to a good standard, have good customer skills, maintaining safe working practices and as a minimum hold a current Eighteenth Edition.
The role is normally Monday to Friday with occassional weekends and the opportunity of overtime.
