As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff. What you’ll do at work
Time & motion is an evaluation of work cycles. It involves using UAS which are studies of movement that are evaluated with a timing. This is cross referenced with a basis of time allowance given by a manufacturing engineer to complete a certain operation. The time study engineer's role is to build up an operation to maximise efficiency. The allowance for the build-up of a job is value added work (engineer time given) & waste (collection of parts, walking, waiting). The idea is to build the job to the most efficient method, meaning the job is mainly value added & waste minimised. Where you’ll work
