COMPANY OVERVIEW Our client is one of the largest industrial refrigeration engineering companies in the UK, with offices in all the major cities. This allows them to successfully support nationwide contracts and the needs of their clients. Due to their ongoing success, they are now recruiting for a time-served Industrial Refrigeration Engineer, covering the South Wales area. The successful applicant will have refrigeration experience in the maintenance, servicing, installation, and commissioning of heavy commercial and industrial refrigeration and FGAS plants, some with Ammonia units. If you do not have your ammonia handling ticket, our client will put you through the course. Their industrial clients span a diverse range of environments, such as production plants, cold stores, petrochemical plants, and food plants. Experience in these areas would be a distinct advantage.

JOB PURPOSE Collecting and fitting parts as directed by the Senior Managing Engineer / Operations Manager. Diagnosing and fixing equipment breakdowns. Using client systems. Carrying out calls as allocated by Service Control. Updating service records and timekeeping information in an accurate and timely way. Updating client reporting systems in an accurate and timely way. Working safely in line with health and safety procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE CO2 or Ammonia qualifications and experience are needed. Training will be given. The successful applicant will have refrigeration experience in the maintenance, servicing, installation, and commissioning of heavy commercial and industrial refrigeration and FGAS plants, some with Ammonia units.

SALARY/BENEFITS In return, our client is offering a salary between £46k (DOE) plus excellent company benefits! 33 days holiday (Includes 8 BH) Company vehicle + Fuel card The position will include a 1 in 4 weekly standby/call out rota that all engineers take part in.
