An opportunity has arisen for a Work Placement Visitor to join our highly ambitious and successful School of Health, Care and Childhood Studies, supporting both our Adult and 16-19 Early Years and Education students to achieve their industry and work placement targets. The successful candidate will be highly motivated and passionate about ensuring our students are presented with valuable opportunities to experience the world of work. They must have experience and a sound understanding of working in Education and Early Years and a Level 3 Early Years Qualification.
The post-holder will need to work effectively with all support functions across the college; be confident in making calls to employers to secure placement visits; hold employer meetings; visit classes to speak with students and meet them on a one-to-one basis; and support students through the DBS process to resolve any difficulties. They must value attention to detail and be able to produce work to the highest standards, meeting strict targets and deadlines.
The successful applicant will be friendly and approachable, fully able to relate to and work alongside both young people and adult learners, and willing to undertake further training and development to join the School of Health, Care and Childhood Studies on its rapid journey of improvement. You will also be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults.
