ABOUT THE JOB Investigate complaints and incidents to determine root causes and preventative actions, supporting food safety standards and initiating product recalls when necessary. Coordinate third-party auditors to oversee catering and retail product suppliers, maintaining technical standards and managing the audit calendar. Analyse data to create performance insights and reports, identifying trends and coordinating performance improvement actions. Oversee internal policies, documentation, and training materials related to food safety, ensuring compliance and recommending policy amendments. Conduct food safety investigations and form recommendations for management review. Collaborate with customer service to investigate complaints and guide responses across airline markets. Communicate with internal stakeholders and legal departments, and support external communication with third parties and legislative bodies. ABOUT YOU Level 3 (Intermediate) HACCP certification. Advanced skills in Excel and the wider Office suite for reporting and presentations. Extensive experience in the food sector, specifically in airline catering or high-volume food retail. Lead auditor qualification (ISO 22000 or similar) preferred. Experience managing Quality Management Systems for compliance with food safety regulations. Commitment to ongoing professional development in food safety practices and regulations. Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex data and implementing corrective actions.
