*Fixed-term positions available to end March 2026* We are inviting applicants for a new and exciting opportunity within our Analytical Services Team in Harrogate & District NHS Foundation Trust. The post holder will manage specialist teams of multi skilled information professionals committed to the service delivery and continual improvement of fit for purpose customer focused information services. They will be responsible and accountable for the successful provision of Clinical Directorate and organisation wide comprehensive data and information reporting systems from the Trust's new Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, Nervecentre. They will direct and change perspectives on information collection and analysis at all levels across the organisation, promoting the use of high-quality information to inform effective data driven decision making. Main duties of the job

Manage specialist teams of multi skilled information professionals responsible and accountable for the delivery of an information service to the organisation. Ensure effective provision and communication of highly complex statistical information and analysis through comprehensive written reports and graphical presentation to senior operational, managerial, and clinical staff within the organisation. Interpret and communicate highly complex statistical information and analysis within the organisation, resolving associated problems and providing highly developed expert specialist leadership and direction. Create and promote a new information culture through the establishment and development of new ways of working, delivering lasting relationships by working collaboratively and in partnership with the Clinical Directorates. Enhance productive working relationships with internal directorates and external organisations. Work with Clinical Leads within the Trust to increase clinical engagement in the performance and information agendas. Masters Level or equivalent experience at Masters Level. Evidence of continuing professional development. A minimum of 5 years in an information position at senior management level. Experience of working in a complex organisation. Significant experience of providing comprehensive information systems to support service reform and improvement. Comprehensive leadership and management skills. Highly developed complex statistical analysis and report writing skills. Extensive comprehensive verbal and written communication skills. Detailed project/resource planning skills. Knowledge of NHS data definitions and information standards. Highly developed expert specialist knowledge of statistical analysis, analytical methodologies and information interpretation. Highly developed expert specialist knowledge of information systems design, development, and implementation. Ability to consider highly complex data or information for long periods producing detailed meaningful analysis and recommendations. Ability to work under extreme pressure and produce high quality work to tight deadlines. Previous NHS experience. Employer certification / accreditation badges
