Do you want to be part of a growing dynamic team that provides police officers with advice to help them use, manage and share their information lawfully? In this role, you will provide administrative assistance to a small team of Information Governance Officers that support and advise the Force in optimising their use of police information to deliver effective and efficient policing.

You will be an effective communicator with the ability to engage customers delivering a good service, meeting the needs of both the customer and the department. You will be able to prioritise and manage varied work within deadlines and be able to use your own initiative. You will have the ability to be confident with, or learn to use, Microsoft applications and basic IT systems. An ability to maintain a high degree of integrity and trust whilst dealing with sensitive and classified information is important. While any basic knowledge/experience of data protection or information management is helpful, it is definitely not essential, as you will receive training once in post.

This post is hybrid working from home and in the office 1 day a week (Tuesday).
