Business Continuity & Information Security, you will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, implementation, and support of the Business Continuity Management (BCM) for the UK and the maintenance of Information Security Management System (ISMS) across the UK & Ireland, with a broader regional focus across EMEA. The role involves working closely with both local and central teams to ensure that business continuity and information security processes are integrated, compliant, and aligned with industry standards. The successful candidate will also support risk, compliance, and governance initiatives, with a key focus on delivering a seamless, secure, and resilient operational environment. Key Responsibilities: Business Continuity Management (BCM): Maintain and monitor the ISO 22301 certified BCM system, focusing on the UK & Ireland, while supporting compliance across the EMEA region. Integrate BCM knowledge and practices within the business to ensure continuity of critical activities. Provide expert advice and guidance on BCM processes to internal teams and customers, ensuring customer expectations for continuity are met. Information Security Management (ISMS): Oversee the maintenance and operation of the certified ISMS in the UK & Ireland, while supporting regional ISMS teams. Collaborate with the central Risk & Compliance Team and Group IT to promote and raise awareness of information security across the business. Develop, maintain, and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable information security legislation and regulations. Maintain certification to Cyber Essentials Plus. General Responsibilities: Contribute to and support the broader Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives within the organization. Lead or participate in Risk & Compliance projects, driving successful delivery and ensuring alignment with business goals. Influence and engage with senior management in the UK business to ensure alignment with business continuity, information security, and compliance objectives. Support the preparation of Bid/tender submissions, awards, and accreditations, both internally and externally within the Ricoh Family Group. Ensure continuity of internal auditing processes, including ISO 22301 and ISO 27001, and contribute to integrated audits for ISO 9001 & ISO 27001. Provide assistance to other members of the Risk & Compliance Team to achieve departmental goals. Liaise with key stakeholders, including EMEA Operating Companies, customers, and suppliers, to ensure alignment and effective implementation of BCM and ISMS processes. You will ideally have
Candidates will ideally be educated to Degree level and/or equivalent. Experience of coordinating BCM & ISMS activities. Preferably candidates will be able to present a willingness to learn and adapt. Excellent communication & presentation skills, both written & oral. Ability to present and influence at senior management level. Numerate / business background with a high level of computer literacy.
