Information Security Manager (FTC, primarily remote)

Job Description Develop and implement effective security policies and procedures Perform the day-to-day risk assessment and compliance duties Provide regular reports to senior management on security threats and propose solutions Lead and coordinate cyber security projects Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to information security Manage relationships with external security vendors and consultants Train and mentor staff in cyber security best practices Conduct regular system audits to detect vulnerabilities The Successful Applicant Relevant academic qualifications in Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field Proven experience in IT Governance, Risk and Compliance Strong knowledge of security standards and regulations (NIST, ISO27001, etc.) Good knowledge in IT Infrastructure & Networking Excellent problem-solving skills Ability to communicate complex security issues to non-technical staff Holder of or eligible to be SC Cleared What's on Offer Primarily remote role (2 days per month in office) An engaging work environment in the public sector The opportunity to make a real impact in ensuring the security of vital public infrastructure Generous benefits
