IT Support Engineer | Edinburgh | £30,000 | 5 days on site About the Role: We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our growing team in Edinburgh. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and self-motivated individual with a strong technical background to provide exceptional support in a fast-paced environment. As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a key role in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring the smooth running of systems and providing support to end-users across a wide range of technologies. Key Responsibilities: Provide IT support for a range of IT issues, including desktop, laptop, and hardware troubleshooting. Administer and support Microsoft 365, Azure Active Directory, and other cloud-based solutions. Support the deployment and management of devices using Microsoft Intune. Assist with the configuration and support of Windows 10/11 environments. Troubleshoot and resolve networking issues. Monitor and manage IT assets and perform hardware inventory checks. Develop and implement solutions to improve operational processes and enhance end-user support. Key Skills & Qualifications: Experience in 2nd IT support with a solid understanding of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, and Azure Active Directory. Strong experience with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and other device management platforms. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve a wide variety of technical issues, including hardware and software. Familiarity with ITIL and service management frameworks, with a focus on delivering excellent customer support. Knowledge of endpoint management, network security, and backup & disaster recovery solutions. Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal teams and provide user training when needed. Experience working with VMware, Azure Virtual Desktop, or similar virtualized environments. Microsoft Certifications are a plus. Seniority Level
