Onsite IT Engineer

to assist with a migration project in London. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for end-user support, focusing on Apple device management and integration with enterprise tools. The engineer will also act as a liaison, relaying user feedback and potential concerns about configurations to the central IT team. Key Responsibilities End-User Support : Provide onsite assistance to users, addressing technical issues and ensuring a seamless transition during the migration process. Feedback Relay : Identify and communicate concerns or challenges in configurations to the IT project team for resolution. Apple Device Management : Configure and troubleshoot Apple devices using Apple Configurator and Apple Business Manager. Application Support : Assist with basic functionality and validation of enterprise applications, including macOS, Google Workspace, Dropbox, and M365 suite. Identity and Access Management : Support Apple ID use in a business context (personal and federated) and manage EntraID Apple federation for device and application logins, including MFA. Cloud Storage and Collaboration Tools : Provide support for SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Slack, and Zoom. Intune Management : Perform BAU tasks such as device resets, enrolments, and basic troubleshooting for macOS and iOS devices. General IT Support : Offer guidance and troubleshooting for common IT issues related to devices, applications, and enterprise tools. Required Skills and Experience Apple Ecosystem : Proficiency with Apple Configurator and Apple Business Manager. Strong understanding of Apple device management and Apple ID use in business (both personal and federated). Basic knowledge of application behavior on macOS. Enterprise Tools : Familiarity with Google Workspace and Dropbox functionality and access validation. Experience with the Microsoft 365 suite, particularly: EntraID federation for Apple devices. SharePoint Online as a file repository. OneDrive for personal data storage and sharing. Teams support and troubleshooting. Endpoint Management : Hands-on experience with Intune for macOS and iOS device management. Collaboration Tools : End-user support for Slack and Zoom with federated identity integration. General IT Proficiency : Solid understanding of IT troubleshooting and support processes. Personal Attributes Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with end-users at all levels of the organization. Proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving. Ability to work independently while effectively coordinating with a remote team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
