Infrastructure Engineer

with extensive Cloud experience to join our team in the UK. You will play a crucial role in supporting the cloud roadmap and providing infrastructure support for CIO Services. This position is internal, not customer facing and involves supporting both project-based and operational efforts to leverage cloud technologies effectively. Responsibilities: Support the roadmap for CIO Services, including Cloud capabilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technological advancements. Collaborate with team members over various areas of Infrastructure. Support project-based initiatives by assisting in the design, implementation, and managing solutions that meet project requirements. Provide operational support for cloud environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs and provide cloud-based solutions that drive business value. Occasionally travel to various sites around the UK to support business engagement and solution deployments. Skills Required: Typically responsible for coaching and reviewing the work of lower-level technical staff. Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation. Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications: Proven experience in cloud technologies, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. Strong understanding of cloud architecture, services, and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure problems and cloud-related issues. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders. Relevant certifications in cloud technologies (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) are a plus. Clearance Requirements: Clearance for Role SC.
