An Infrastructure Consultant (Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V) is needed to join a leading Microsoft Partner investing heavily in infrastructure transformation. If you’re ready to work on cutting-edge data centre projects and secure high-profile SC clearance, this is for you. As an Infrastructure Consultant (Windows Server, Linux, VMware, Hyper-V) you will need experience with some but not all the following. Expertise in Windows Server (2012 and beyond) OR Linux (Ubuntu, Redhat, Debian) for design and configuration. Proficiency with virtualisation technologies like VMware (v8.0.3) or Hyper-V. A solid grasp of physical server builds and operating system installation. Familiarity with enterprise-level security protocols like privileged access management or identity segregation. A strong background in infrastructure or data centre operations, ideally with home lab experience. You must be willing and able to undergo SC Clearance checks for this position. Your Role:
In this predominantly on-premises position, you will: Design, build, and maintain the organisation’s on-premises infrastructure. Manage data centre operations, including racks, hardware, and server configurations. Collaborate with network and voice teams to maintain critical hardware solutions. Play a key role in transitioning from Windows-based to Linux-based systems while ensuring enterprise-grade security. What’s In It for You?
