Infrastructure Engineer

With the continued investment in our IT group at Alpine F1 Team, we have a new position to join the team as an Infrastructure Engineer. The Role Within this role, you will be the authority on core infrastructure technologies such as virtualisation, data protection, and network-attached storage, whilst also being the escalation point for a much wider variety of other technologies used in Enstone. You will ensure critical systems remain operational through the use of reporting and monitoring tools, whilst also leading the discovery and implementation of improvement projects to enhance the performance and resilience of our back-end services. You will provide mentoring and informal training to members of IT Operations to develop infrastructure knowledge within the team. The Person We are looking for an individual with in-depth skills in virtualisation, storage, and data protection, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues relating to these technologies as well as a diligent and proactive mindset to continually seek improvements wherever possible. Strong recent experience in hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), backup and replication technologies, and scale-out network attached storage systems would be beneficial.
