Infrastructure Engineer Inside IR35 6 Months 2 days per week Onsite
We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with strong technical skills across Azure, including PaaS and IaaS, as well as DevOps, coupled with standard Windows technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in both BAU and project workstreams.
Main Responsibilities:
Manage incident and request fulfilment tickets within SLAs.
Monitor key health signs of infrastructure and respond to actual or predicted issues.
Support projects and new initiatives, participating in investigations and remediation of any vulnerabilities or security breaches.
Implement infrastructure design and build best practices.
Minimum Level of Technical Expertise Required:
Experienced 3rd line Infrastructure Technical Specialist.
Dual experience with traditional Infrastructure BAU support in an ITIL environment and with Azure IaaS, PaaS, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code.
Proficient in Microsoft Windows technologies (including installation, Active Directory, WDS, DNS, DHCP, DFSR, Group Policy).
Experience with virtualization (VMware and vSphere).
Knowledge of IT and Cyber Security measures (e.g., firewalls, antivirus, security patching, IDP/IDS).
Familiarity with SAN technologies (storage configuration & provision, Fibre Channel connectivity & zoning).
