Infrastructure Engineer (Contract)
3-5 month Contract
Rate: £500-£550 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: London (4 days office-based)
A Leading Financial services client seeks an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join their IT team in London. You'll be part of a global IT function managing infrastructure and providing support across UK/European operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain UK/Europe network infrastructure, including Cisco switches and Meraki Wi-Fi systems
Provide 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line infrastructure and end-user support
Manage infrastructure including on-premises and cloud-based capabilities
Support Microsoft 365 environment and troubleshoot Office applications
Monitor system performance and implement improvements
Collaborate with global IT team on infrastructure projects
Essential Experience:
Strong infrastructure engineering background within an on-premises environment
Proven experience with Cisco networking and small global networks
VMware and Firewall technology expertise
Microsoft 365 administration
Video conferencing and telephony support
Windows 10/11, Active Directory, SharePoint
ITSM systems experience
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and experience working in a global team environment.
