We offer a Basic Salary from £30,000 to £33,880 + company vehicle, fuel, plus an outstanding Benefits package that offers great Lifestyle, Travel, and Retail perks.
What Airband needs from you:
As an Airband Infrastructure Engineer, you may come from a background that includes: Network & Wireless commissioning, Rigging Mast & Tower climbing, FWA 4G or 5G deployment. You will be self-motivated, efficient, a team player, a multitasker, and possess a flexible mindset, all of which are crucial.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Network Design and Planning: Contribute to the design and planning of Airband's Fibre and FWA network infrastructure, including base station placement, capacity planning, and frequency allocation.
Implementation and Deployment: Install, configure, and deploy Fibre and FWA equipment, including radios, antennas, switches, OLTs, and network devices.
Network Optimization: Monitor network performance, identify and troubleshoot issues, and optimize network parameters to ensure optimal service quality.
Maintenance and Support: Perform routine maintenance on network infrastructure, troubleshoot and resolve network problems, and provide technical support to customers.
Technology Evaluation: Stay abreast of the latest advancements in fibre and FWA technology and evaluate new equipment and solutions.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of network infrastructure, configurations, and maintenance activities.
Collaboration: Work closely with other teams, including engineering and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery.
