Infrastructure Manager

The role of Infrastructure Engineer is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to assist the Head of Infrastructure with Interpath's digital transformation, including the migration to Azure and our global expansion. The role is also expected to provide support and technical expertise to build, deliver and improve solutions required to enhance business function, information security and infrastructure, through small works and large projects alike, within a fast-paced, growing global business. The successful candidate must be a self-driven individual, who is able to implement new technologies with the support of the wider IT team. They are also expected to drive efficiencies by assisting in design and management of the infrastructure across the organisation epassing physical, virtual, cloud platforms and associated technologies. Key Accountabilities: Site Based Customer (Internal) Focussed: This is a hybrid role with expectation of being in the office ~2 days per week. Out of hours support required when necessary. Strongmunication skills and stakeholder management. Cloud First Approach Assist with the design and deployment of cloud infrastructure solutions that meet business requirements and industry best practices. Assist with the optimisation and management of cloud resources to ensure cost-efficiency and performance. Global Expansion Support the business expansion into new global territories. Ability to travel to global territories where required. Small Project Technical Lead Ownership of small projects, managing delivery to deadlines alongside BAU responsibilities. Coordinate IT resources to support on delivery. Strongmunication with business stakeholders. Strong documentation skills to create technical and user-based guides andms. Technical Project Lead Providing technical expertise to support project delivery. Delivering to timelines, working collaboratively with project team and reporting into PM. Working in partnership with our MSP Working with our managed service providers to ensure the stability & availability of our services. Working closely with our MSP on the implementation of new, and improvement of existing services. 3rd Line Support Working with our MSP and internal support teams to provide a point of escalation when required (20%). Disaster Recovery & BCP Participate in the planning and execution of the annual disaster recovery exercise and business continuity strategies. Requirements Experience in key technologies within Interpath: Azure cloud infrastructure services Microsoft on-prem and cloud stack (AD/Azure AD, Server/Client OS's, Exchange Hybrid, M365, Intune) Microsoft Security stack (Defender, Security andpliance, Purview) Networking Technologies (LAN/WLAN, WAN/MPLS) Windows 10/11 Experienced in working and leading on a variety of technical projects. Experience in Cloud Migration Experience in Mergers and Acquisitions An eye for detail and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Desire to continually Identify improvements for current systems and process. Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and trends to rmend improvements. Experience in major incident management - High level technical representation on P1 issues, including conference calls and managing technical resolution. Documenting and educating the entire Service Team on workarounds and resolutions. Champions team-working, knowledge sharing and promotes all Interpath IT services. Mentor for solution engineer - raising overall efficiency and performance, developing the team and the individuals.
