About you Proficient in working with large datasets, employing strong problem-solving skills to extract meaningful insights. Experienced with data visualization tools like Looker and Power BI, translating complex data into clear, actionable visuals. Skilled in influencing and presenting findings to stakeholders, adept at engaging audiences through compelling storytelling. Expertise in web analytics and user behaviour analysis across multiple customer touchpoints, managing high-volume data from diverse sources. Capable of gathering and interpreting market and customer insights to drive product strategy, proposition development, and successful go-to-market strategies. What will you be doing? Research and Insight Management

Develop and lead research programmes, including surveys, focus groups, and competitor analysis, to understand market dynamics and consumer behaviour. Manage the synthesis of qualitative and quantitative research into actionable insights to inform business strategies.

Consumer Data and Analytics

Oversee the collection, analysis, and interpretation of consumer data to identify trends, behaviours, and key customer segments. Collaborate with teams across the business to develop consumer personas and journey maps that optimise engagement.

Data-Driven Decision Making

Implement British Cycling’s data strategy to ensure the effective use of insights. Deliver regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards that provide clear, actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement

Act as a trusted advisor, presenting research findings and insights to senior leadership and cross-functional teams in a clear and compelling manner. Partner with teams across the business to identify key metrics and ensure alignment with business needs and our balance scorecard.

Market and Trend Analysis

Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to provide strategic recommendations. Translate external and internal data into opportunities for innovation and growth.

Team Leadership

Lead a team of analysts and researchers, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and curiosity. Ensure team members are equipped with the latest tools, skills, and methodologies.

Compliance and Governance

Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, research ethics, and governance frameworks, including GDPR.

Technology and Tools Management

Oversee the implementation and optimisation of tools and technologies for research and analytics, such as Looker, Power BI, or survey platforms
